I really like how spaced out it is - a few words per page is so nice. Adore the bit where it looks like blinking, it's so clever. Sometime I'd like to do a short comic, but I'm not gonna have the time anytime soon. sad

All the work that I haven't been doing (oops...) has to come first. Eeekkkkk!!!

My Blog

Hey all. Nousagi has become rather abandoned in recent months, so what I am thinking is that I will archive all these posts, and update cutenews so it works properly, and then take it off the main http://nousagi.co.uk. This will mean it WON'T COME UP when you type it in. I will change it to nousagi.co.uk/obsessions or something like that. This will mean you dudes can still use the site if you want to, and I will still read it :) However, I doubt if I will be posting much here anymore except private or important things, as I now have my own blog at blogger which I have been using for maybe just over a week, and I am loving it. So all my obsessing as well as non obsessive randomness will be going on there from now on. I hope you guys will read it, and hint hint become followers! Some of my posts are looking distinctly lonely with 0 comments, but then I am used to it with the crowd here sleepy

Anyways, so not that you care, here is the link to my blog. Perhaps you guys can join too, it is anonymous which makes it all the greater, I can read your blogs, you can read mine. Just an idea :)

Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up)

I have been meaning to post this for literally AGES and AGES. Since I heard it on the radio during the Art Exam. I love the song and I am weirdly excited for July - the Album sounds great (I couldn't resist the previews). Here is their first vid - Rabbit Heart.

This is a gift! It comes with a price! Love it. Although, not meaning to be rude, "Lion-heart[ed]" is strictly Kate Bush. It is a saying, but it was popularized by Kate, and is always associated with Kate, as several commenters pointed out. And Dog Days really reminds me of Hounds of Love, the running and references and some rhythms. Apparently she was "brought up listening to her" but she could just like her. I doubt its unconcious, but I'm sure Florence doesn't want to copy anyone. I love her anyway. Also, the beginning of this song is ripped off "House Jam" by "Gang Gang Dance" although all her fans deny it, its so obvious I think it must be a purposeful reference to the song. Goldfrapp Blog

Now if you on on the 'Frapp's website you get their new blog. Or should I say, Alison's blog. I think its a coding error as I'm pretty sure its meant to go the the main website. Anyways, discovery of the year. The album is officially coming!!! So exciting! I think probs will be more upbeat than ST but not as much as SN, but theres a chance they might go a bit ambient/ felt mountain esque again. I think it will be something different as the strive to be different (PSHK to all those copies over the last year or so regarding music and style I'll get 'em...) but I just can't think how! Maybe they'll go down the plain guitar route... NOOOO. Alison despises that so prob not (meaning she despises all these boy groups who sound the same). Who knows, it will be a surprise!
