Shining
This isn't really a proper post, but i just finished watching the shining for the second time, and it really made me realise how much i want to re-do that film. It's going to be a little fantasy of mine, refilming the shining. The film is good, but is totally inacureate to the book and avoids the point totally, and it cut out the hedge animals! So disappointed. Maybe if i become a director .. anyways. See ya sorry its random

Cologne Cerrone Houdini
Okies dokies so so you know i said that Goldfrapp sounded like KB in clowns? and quite a lot on seventh tree in general? Weell, she also wrote a song on the album called 'cologne cerrone houdini', and i don't think it's coincedence that she wrote about houdini either. I think she's a KB-inspired-dudey-person. She mentions things similar to Kate bush does... like "behind glass" and things like that. She also says "we could be together in another world" and the whole point of the kate bush houdini song.. wait hehehehe ill explain :D:D:D
Ok so houdini and Bess promised each other that if one died the other would go through every hardship to contact them from the other side to prove it could be done and to see if it could and they were all spiritual and stuff. Blaa blaa. So houdini famously dies, and bess kinda half retells. The song is about her sitting in a room in a seance, with a group of friends i am guessing, trying to make contact with him. "i wait, at the table, holding hands with weeping strangers (ok maybe not friends), wait for you to join the group, the medium (important!! medium! = spazzo spirtual person) roams and rambles, not taken in, i break the circle - i want this man to go away now" wow by memory impressive! then she cuts in in really cool effecty voice "with a kiss, i'd pass the key, and feel your tongue, teasing and receiving (screamed:) with your spit still on my lip, you'd hit the water" i can't be bothered to go through the whole version but yeah kb rocks.
anyways back to goldfrapp, she says "im not your kind, im not your girl" dunno but it sounds familiar. eh eh eh? i love it when people seem kb influenced, but i hate hate hate copying *cough* bjork, *cough cough COUGH* *cough* *COUGH COUGH* TORI AMOS *cough* *COUGH* *EH-HEM* phew glad i cleared my throat.
Well, its my bed time cos i am tired. what do you dudes think about cologne cerrone houdini and original one? o wait i might see if its on youtube but you dont have to watch it. I love the "da-da" bits.

Happiness
Okies, i know im posting alot about goldfrapp right now, but seventh tree is definately an obsession. Okies so another song on seventh tree, the third track, is called "Happiness". Its one of the first tracks i really picked up on - its just great. The video is like the mega awsomeness too. Sososo what to say? oh yeah i love the way she isnt central hehehe. Sorry, the sound quality isnt great on youtube, headphones is amaz. I really need some better headphones though - the ipod ones suck. I still want skullcandy ones but they are expencive. I'll save up - at least i'll use them. i think they fit poddy baby too. Shut up cathy. Ok moooooving on swiftly. Heres the vid dudes.
