A&E
Just before the release of goldfrapp's latest album, she released a single called "A&E" which is also on the album obviously. It did pretty well on itunes but narrowly missed the top spot, i think it went up to somewhere between 3 and 8. Anyways, accident and emergency is such a well raving song. The picture at the top is kinda random but i just love that picture. The album cover for A&E is so cool, but i won't post it right now cos i don't have one the right size saved on my computer, i want a small one. The song is quite gentle, but it really grows on you and its soo cool! At first i couldn't hear what she was saying, but just before the end the music speeds up and she sings "How did i get to accident and emergency?" and its so effective. When she sortof screams but doesnt in the next line it works so well, ok the video is pretty hilarious but i personally like it and dont find it funny. Just her little way of expressing herself. Oh yeah - she believes in expressing emotions through animals. Thats why in tonnes of her videos people have animal heads. It's kinda weird. She is a bit weird, cool but weird. Shes a bit slutty really and doesnt wear much in her videos and in a live on stage picture she had a reeeaaallyy skimpy outfit and had anorexic people (girls) in bikinis behind her with wolf masks on?? Its cool, but i think she needs to tone down the slutness. I find the people who do less strutting around in no clothes more sexy - like kate and feist and laura marling. Blondie too... surely?? Anyways that is my opinion. Not that i dont like Goldfrapp - quite the opposite. Anyways, here is the video. Obseeeessssed majorly hehehehe. P.S. she can't eat properly if she is that thin... but then she has been airbrushed. Video time. I love the way that towards the end, the green people walk behind the brown people and disappear, and the brown ones turn to leaves. It's cool. God she is thin. Then ending is so random lol. I Love her dress. L.O.V.E. It just needs a piece of ribbon to hold it a bit tighter around the waist when she lifts her arms up. When they are down its fab though. Want the sleeves. How many left to go???
Guessing it'll end...in....at most 20 weeks. Possibly more, given RT's talent for dragging things out, you never know. Of course now, I kinda want her to. With it getting this good, I want it to last!!!
My favourite line this week:

I know you guys prob. won't see it, but it's just such an inuyasha-ish thing to say.
Oh yeah!! After remembering what cathy said about different countries iTunes stores having different songs, I looked up Inuyasha opening + closing songs (on the Japanese store). I found Dearest, stuff by Every Little Thing (Grip + Ai no Uta)...oh yeah! And Rakuen. I think I love the cover for that more than the song. --->
Maybe I can find out how to use a credit card on iTunes...
But sadly no Background music. No mush song, no fighty music...none at all. Might help if I found out what they were called...

Well what to say. It's the end of the month and i havnt done much obsessing at all :(:(:(. I just don't know what to say really. anyways today i was looking up some artists i like and was looking at Eduardo Recife and i really like his style. He's also in the picture book. His website is at the bottom. Lots of people i like but i cant think of any names right now i am too tired. What happened today err nothing. DARN i forgot to cash that check. Poo. Oh well. Now to explain the picture ---> how much do you looovee her hair? i would kill for hair like that. Yes OK its a wig but its still cool... wait..wig... hmm... getting ideas. NO i am not bald but YES i want a wig. How cool? i mean .. amy winehouse has a wig! but then she is a bit weird, good singer and cool at times but weird too, who else...i dunno. Tonnes of famous people. Me wanna wig. My hair would always look perfect. Anyways shut up cathy get a life. anyways, loving my nano baby hes with me now hehe. The bunnies were runing around on the lawn all day today, how cute. Pwessing their wittle noses up to the glass... hehehe. What else... going shopping tomorrow! And out for lunch hopefully which would be so fun. Chinese i think, not takeaway but restaurant. Can't say names though of course. iPod Nano (3G)
The split menu i wasn't so sure about when i heard about it, but it really does look great esp. when its your music that's being pictured there. Cover flow is really amazing, but annoyingly it isn't organised by album! ahhh its so annoying. It's done by artist, then album. So all my kb stuff is grouped and all feist stuff etc. At first it was SO irritating but i'm getting used to it. Also, compilations are shuved at the end so i tend to forget about them. Side from the ordering, it looks really cool even though it isn't as smooth as the touch. Still gives me a thrill every time i click a song and it flips over - it's gunna take a loooong time for the novelty to wear off that one.
Okies, the main thing about the new nano is that it plays videos - i'm not disappointed, but some music videos on itunes are only ok quality which sucks. I downloaded 'take on me - a-ha', '9 crimes - damien rice', and '1234, my moon my man and mushaboom by feist'. I also have inside and out by feist anyway for free so thats there too. Shame you can't get kb... oh yeah!! you can get all the red shoes videos and also this woman's work video on the american store! way cool! but i cant get it with an itunes card so poo that. Anyways, they are all great quality esp.1234 except mushaboom which isnt so great. Oh well, the detail in the others is cool. Wonderpets is on tv shows - it rocks. I also have all the wallace and gromit movies on there! (£4.99 - its a bargain) They are super to watch 9.5/10 quality and sound so thats super. Shame its small, but its great for short movies like wallace and gromit. I don't think i could stand a whole movie though.
Games - comes with an updates ipod quiz which is v. entertaining. You go on a sortof show and get asked hard questions about your songs like what year and stuff. Its ok but sometimes a bit hard and it has a few bugs. Klondike - its basically solitare but gone flashy. Something to do with betting money too cos theres money in the corner but i dont understand. Its so hard to complete i havn't managed yet. Oh yeah! and you can choose card backs and the bg. Thats the main good thing about it. Basically its a more flashy looking solitare. Vortex - this is a v.good game but can be a bit slow. Its basically brick but in a circle. Its better than brick but harder. Good thing is you can choose how you control the bat - either but rotating the wheel or by the location of your finger on the wheel - if that makes sense. Its the best of the three but not amazing. I downloaded the game "phase" and it rocks my socks i am addicted. Ahh will finnish this tomorrow i gotta go - its 23:20 and i gotta go play phase before bed niiight niiight.
