The Other Mushaboom
Sorry that i post youtube videos so much, but my obsessions are all musical basically so what else can i do if im talking about a song? Anyways, remember mushaboom? Sometimes known as one of the coolest songs ever written? Ring any bells? Nope? Yes? Nope? Well its the one when she draws on her neck, and flies as well as the toast flying too. I love that toast i want some. Hehehe. Her creativity is very kb-ish, in some ways they are so similar but other ways sooo different. Anehwehs, here is an "alternative" video for mushaboom, i thik its a random webblog thingie made for her website, so its not the official music video but it is pretty cool. Lots of symetrical images, and the red scarf pashmina thing is so cool. You don't have to watch but its ok, and some parts are really cool, other vid is better but its still obsessy heh. Oh yeah, and look at her hands if you remember, they have her signature arrows on them the whole time hehe smile


Enjoy dudes, aaanndd, its the end of feb tomorrow, so, it means, as ma b-day is on 24th, its 25 days and counting! Heh, excited! See yaaa!

Yoyo everyone! Just gunna have a quick chatty obsess cos I'm lazy but i want to post. Just now i was listening to one of the cathy demos. I havn't listened to them in ages because .. i dunno obsession fading but now its all come back hehe. I love that song, it's called Sunsi. The quality is really really bad and when she sings the chorus she bangs on the piano a bit too much so you can hardly hear it - i think the microphone must have been shaking with it cos its so distorted! I really like some of Kate's cathy demos, they should have been recorded - well some of them. A few understandably were not but some are really catchy like 'scares me silly'. In other news.. hehe. Maybe i should postie the video of lover's spit live cos its so great! Well, i personally like it. The emotion is so .. sigh. There's a programme about child heros on tv like peter pan, harry potter and alice in wonderland! its ok but it keeps reading extracts from the latest hp which i havn't read yet and i don't want it to be spoiled. Phew it's moved on form harry potter. It's going on about the industrial revolution and stuffs. I really think we should do that manga thing - it kinda got put on hold. I might just write a story and put it up week by week. Just written maybe. It's just finding time that is a problem. I really want to do some kind of ongoing project for nousagi. The art thing would work if i had the time or motivation to do it. If i can't do the art then i don't think the story is going to happen. I might have to try though. It's talking about alice in wonderland now! Yayness. Anyways i'm gunna think of ideas for a story and possibly have it inspired by a song. Heh. Byes!

Lover's Spit

Beautiful song by broken social scene, also sung by feist on a B-side to the single "one evening". I really really love this song, its so emotional! I won't bore you by posting like 10 videos, but if you look around on youtube there are so excellent live versions of feist singing with kevin drew who is apparently her partner. It's really good live, she sounds amazing! I can't decide whether i prefer feist version or broken social scene version, they both rock. The live one is esp. amaz. The video is so cool too, i love it when he leans back and water (ehem) flies from his mouth. It's just the image i see in my mind when i hear the song. amazing. The other versions really are worth listening to! Really really great. I wish i had money to by some broken social scene stuff, i like them too now... ahh so much music i want so little money sad Oh well see ya dudes!

Bat For Lashes : What's A Girl To Do?

I have this song in my head really badly, i think it's really cool. She was a brit nominee which was a bit surprising as this is the only song which is remotely popular - strange. Oh well, having seen this video floating around on youtube for ages and whispers about bat for lashes i finally know about it - and like it! I just wish i had more money on iTunes because i only have £1.30 left, which is only enough for one more song, but i'm not sure whether to get this one or not. So annoying! Will actually have to force myself to buy another card, unless i get one for my birthday. Hope so, but i would get through them twice as fast if i could. I love music so much, i really need an ipod with a bigger capacity but i don't like the iPod classics, they are too big and i don't like the proportion of the screen to the rest and stuff. The touch is ok, but its really really expensive and it seems a bit snobby to have one. Sigh. If i had a touch people would think touch = spoilt, so i don't want one. Besides i can't afford and i won't get one so hey. Supper soon. Weeeelll. Oh yeah! i heard "i feel it all" in a TV commercial, and got really high. Feist and Kb are good for tv commercials, but feist has done 3! impressivo! Kb i think only 1 recent, unless you count the seiko commercial in japan from like 1979 hahaha. Anyways, loving it. See ya!
