It's A Heartache
Yo All. Ok so i decided as i love total eclipsey so much, i would see if bonnie tyler had done any other good stuff, and it turns out shes a big cheese in music (According to my mum). I only just put two and two together and realised that it was bonnie tyler who sang "holding out for a hero". Can't believe i forgot that cos its so famous! I also foundie this song - it's a heartache - and i quite like it. First time i heard it i hated it but its grown on me alot. Shame there is no official video for it, so we have to go with her singing it on some random programme. I don't think its live singing, i think its just mimed. KB did that alot in the 80s too, so it prob is just mouthed. She looks really nice in the vid, kb looks nicer but she just looks really cool here. She has the "cool" atmosphere. Keeps swishing her hair etc. Funny. I'm gunna have a kb binge on youtube so ... hehe.. enjoy the song even though its prob not your thing. It does grow on you. Try thinking of it in a different way. Oh well. Enjoy...

Top Rock Songs On iTunes
I was a-poking around on iTunes just now (i have been doing this alot recently) and i clicked on "rock" to see all rock songs, and i took a lookie look at the rock charts and was slightly shocky shock shockedidid. Please note this is not overall charts, but just rock charts. Ehem. Take a lookie at the chart for yourself and feast your eyes upon the number 8. spot. Heh heh. Just now i typed in kate bush and all her songs have suddenly majorly gone down in popularity, about three days ago lyra was full on the bary thing, wuthering heights almost full, and then this woman's work and running up that hill also around half-full, with a few other songs having a few more bars here and there. Now this Woman's Work is totally full and the others are moved down because of it. Weird. Maybe it was used for something? Somehow i dont think its because of it's use in the NSPCC advert. Gotta be something popular. Let's go to wiki. Blaa blaa aha i see. Under trivia it says "The song was also featured on the Felicity soundtrack, and used in key moments in episodes of Alias and Without a Trace. It was used to promote the season opener of the 2007-2008 season of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation". That would be it i think. CSI is really pop so fans of csi will see advert, hear song, and downloadie. The song does rock though. Anyways, i am gunna hopefully download even more iTunes songs and then have iPod rave and then ... i dunoo. Sigh. So much time and so little to do. Sims maybe, cos that is a raving game. Guild wars if i get desperate. I dunno what to do. I'll find something. See ya dudes and be cool and contribute to the kbness and download "this woman's work"!

Oh England My Leotard
KB parody from the early 80s (i think). The first time i saw it i was majorly offended but now its just funny. For all you guys its prob amazing cos it mocks her. Btw the woman is pamela anderson! OMG you would not recognise her now. I would say that pamela is the one with the latex tits not kb cos its true but that would be mean wouldn't it?

I was into yin and yang and hatha yoga
Ginseng and caraway seeds and being a non-smoker
My cauliflower quiches were better than the bought ones
And I was thicker than two short ones
People bought my latest hits
Coz they like my latex tits
Everyone trying hard
To get inside my leotard

Went to my hairdresser to have a hair-do (hair do-be-do-be-do)
He asked if I knew A La Recherche De Temps Perdus
That's how I was introduced to Colette, Cocteau and Marcel Proust
Now wholefood cookery is just a sideline

(Shrill 'La-La-la' middle eight.)

I went to Cairo and I read the Gnostic
Apocryphon of John in the original Coptic
Korsakoff's psychosis theories
And the Fibonacci series
Studied acupuncture and the Bible (Buyabubble!)
Opened the windows in my mind

'It's not your mind, it's your body they're into-oo-oo'
My business-manager said.
He said that I need an intellect like I need a
Hole in the hole in the hole in the head!

Though I'm an honorary member of Mensa now
I'm going to try and keep up the pretence somehow!
Coz you buy my latest hits
Because you like my latex tits
And you're all trying hard to get inside my
Leotard leotard leotard

Oh England, my leotard...

Scarf, Songs, and The Surreal
Hi all! I Hope everyone had a jolly christmas. I'm just gunna update ya on some random stuffs. Okies there was this scarf that i really liked in river island but it was £20 and i thought it was new stock, but then i saw it today in the half price sale and got it for £10!! Me wub wub it. Its hand knitted, kinda pale skin colour with shiny silver thread throught it. Its really poofy and really long so i have to wrap it round and round and i look like an eskimo. Oh yeah i bought some songs on itunes, recently have bought "Taking Chances" - Celine Dion, "Human Behavior" - Bjork, "One Moment In Time" - Whitney Houston, "It's a Heartache" - Bonnie Tyler, "Holding Out For A Hero" - Bonnie Tyler, "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You" - Bryan Adams, "Take My Breath Away" - BERLIN, and "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" - Celine Dion. So yeah, rather raving songs. Last night i had a really weird dream that Niki came. To cut a long story short i kept trying to talk to her, she liked me but i was too shy to say much. All my friends started crowding round and she thought that i had told them she would be there and i knew she felt crowded. Then she said bye to me and i realised that if i followed her and asked her if i could talk to her she would say yes cos she was really nice. So then i turned to follow her and i started to wake up. Mega anoying. She never knew me.. sigh. I love it when i have obsessive dreams. My fave was when i saw Kate at disneyland. Was such a cool dream and she actually talked to me, even though i could tell she thought i was an anoying fan. I talked about normal stuff though ... oh well. She was so pretty. I had that dream in japan its quite a long story. In the dream someone stole my ipod. Turned out the fisherman had stolen it. Really weird dream. I know the picture is totally irrelavant, but i just liked it hehe. Anyways. Randomness. I really like the elfen lied art style, just love it. So ... Hehe just bought "Hounds Of Love" by the Futureheads. The KB cover. It's not as good but its pretty good. Really well known. Anyways ... sob its more pop than the kb one on itunes... prob just cos more people have bought recently. OH well. Kb's is better. I'm such an iPod Junkie. See ya dudes!
