Autism Bag

Just thought you all might be interested in this bag design i found on google images when i was researching autism. The bag is for the dubai autism centre. A bit random but i just love how clever it is, and its reall eye catching. The person who designed it must be so clever... the jealousy!! In Other news, niki has a x factor myspace account which is so cool! She even posted (probably forced to be producers) a video saying hi and thanking people for comments and stuff. So cool. Hehe. Maybe if i comment alot ... hmm... doubt it. Anyways. Sorry. Oh yeah! And apparently niki already had a record deal but she never had any chart success so she lost her confidence. I hope she isn't just using this as .. well.. i hope shes genuine because she seems like she is. Waaa i have my heart will go on and all we ever look for and breathing in my head at once its not good! Also the song i was singing in my singing lesson called love quickly is pall'd. Grr... Anyways. See you soon i just wanted to quickly say hi and stuffs. See ya

Firetripper
Cathy's post gave me the idea to do simalar thing. I read a while back that Inuyasha had similarities with a short story RT had previously written, called Firetripper. It's pretty old (or just unknown), so I couldn't really find out much about it. I think they made an OVA and stuff....anyway, here's a storyline review thingy from Rumic World.

"Suzuko seems like an ordinary girl, but she has a strange memory of being trapped in a burning house. One day while walking home from school, she sees a little boy she knows named Shuhei showing off his stomach. When she asks why he's showing some boys his belly, he tells her that he was showing them a scar from getting his appendix removed. Suzuko tells Shuhei that she'll walk him home, and on the way a large gas explosion occurs in front of them. When Suzuko awakens she realizes she is on a battlefield littered with dead bodies. Some vagrants see Suzuko and attempt to rape her until they are stopped by a young warrior named Shukumaru. Shukumaru takes her back to his village where she sees him give a bell to a young girl named Suzu.

When Shukumaru tells Suzuko that she needs to change into some new clothes, she comes across Shuhei's shirt. Suzuko realizes that she must have accidently brought him with her when she travelled through time and attempts to find him, but can not.

Suzuko soon realizes that she is in fact the little girl in the village named Suzu, and that she was born in Shukumaru's time. After saving Shukumaru from a falling log that was set on fire, she realizes that fire allows her to travel through time. Now in present day, she takes Shukumaru home to clean his wounds and notices he has a scar at the same place Shuhei had his appendix scar. Suzuko realizes that Shukumaru must have been seperated from her in mid-time switch earlier and that he had been raised in the past all along. Shukumaru tells her how much he's enjoyed his life, so Suzuko doesn't feel guilty about what happened. Suzuko and Shukumaru use the same gas explosion that sent them back the first time to travel back to Shukumaru's time and live happily. If you're a fan of Takahashi's Inuyasha manga, then you'll certainly enjoy this one."

It doesn't bug me she re-used a simalar idea she'd used for something previously for Inuyasha (does that sentence make sence?!-you know what I mean). It probabaly should do, but it's not as if they're identical stories. I probably won't ever read it (it sounds good but kinda cheesy), but it interests me that its out there.
Adios Amigos!

Early Years And Now
I couldn't help noticing when i listening to the track called "A coral Room" on kate's latest album aerial that it reminded me a lot of the song "Atlantis" from her demos called "the early years" (1973). They both contain similar descriptions of sunken cities and stuff like that. They are also in a kind of similar style. I just was wondering if there was a connection. I wonder if it was intentional or not. Probably not. She prob just likes Atlantis and ballads. Oh well. I was just being hopeful and trying to make nice mysterious connections between songs in past and ... nearer... present. Whatever. A Coral Room is about her mother's death. It nearly wasn't put on the album because it was considered too personal. Luckily for us they did keep it on as it is one of my favourites on the album. If not my favourite! I love the style of the song and the way the voice changes when it says "little brown jug, don't i love thee?". I think its her brother singing. It harmonizes well so it would make sense. yay! Anyways i am going to post the lyrics to it as i havn't posted lyrics in ages, so, here they are ... voila!

There’s a city, draped in net
Fisherman net
And in the half light, in the half light
It looks like every tower
Is covered in webs
Moving and glistening and rocking
It’s babies in rhythm
As the spider of time is climbing
Over the ruins

There were hundreds of people living here
Sails at the windows
And the planes came crashing down
And many a pilot drowned
And the speed boats flying above
Put your hand over the side of the boat
What do you feel?

My mother and her little brown jug
It held her milk
And now it holds our memories
I can hear her singing
“Little brown jug don’t I love thee”
“Little brown jug don’t I love thee”
Ho ho ho, hee hee hee

I hear her laughing
She is standing in the kitchen
As we come in the back door
See it fall See it fall
Oh little spider climbing out of a broken jug
And the pieces will lay there a while
In a house draped in net
In a room filled with coral
Sails at the window
Forests of masts
Put your hand over the side of the boat
Put your hand over the side of the boat
What do you feel?

Those were the lyrics to a coral room not atlantis. Just now i was listening to some more of kates old stuff (meaning demos) and i was listening to a radio interviewy thingie when she played a song from when she was 15. It cuts off after only a little bit to continue with the interview. The song is reeeaallyly similar to a song called humming and they merge quite well. The lyrics are similar, but it cuts off before you can tell if they are the same or not. Possibly a later version of the same song? who knows. I also realsed only one reeeaalllyy early demo song from 1973 actualy made it to a real song. It is refered to as "need your loving" and the actualy version is called "passing through air". I think that its more likely that they were both actually called passing through air, just no one knows what she called it at first. It was only ever released as a B-side of a single and never on an album. I'll put it on full-story so ya can hear it. see ya dudes.

Niki's First Audition

For the benefit of Tatsu who i really hope will read this and get to know my very sliiiiight obsession that is developing. This is niki's first audition which i think was totally amazing. She is doing so well at the moment i don't want her to go home. Let's just hope the public thinks the same. I think she probably has the best voice in the competition, maybe Rhydian in an odd way is just as good but i feel like his isn't natural and her's is. However, even though she has (in my opinion) the best voice, i don't think she'll win even though she deserves it, plainly because i think some people will not vote for her because she is older. She's married with kids and shes in the older catagory but i personally don't care!! She rocks! Hope i think suck but everyone is going to vote for them because they are young and go around in short skirts. It anoys me. And same difference just sang from high school musical so everyone is going to go for them. They really are not that great. Oh well. Good luck to emily too, because she is sweet.

Vote for niki smile

Wings

i saw these really really nice wings on deviant art a while back and i really wanted to show them to ya all. The picture at the top is rubbish, it's just because i can't show the full beauty of the wings unless you go on the link and look. It was drawn by someone called muju for a tatoo design and i love it. If i was into tatoos (which i really am not) then i would love these on my back, or the ones from chobits. Those were so cool. Will try and find a picture sometime. They're tatooed on elda and freya's backs in some random art from the artbook. Really nice. Wuv wuv. I'm talking rubbish again so .. well .. hopefully they will have put up the video of niki's performance by tomorrow so i can post it up. It was reaaaallyyy good. My heart will go on. She rocks. Good judge comments too. Sorry i'll be quiet. Oh yeah, and *mush mush* Rhydian sung phantom of the opera. Although he totally freaked me out in the process (he was reeeaalyy creepy) but it was his favourite song of all time and he gave it his all which was sweet. If he wasn't so weird with such weird hair i would want to be his friend. No offence Rydian-dude. He's such a drama-queen. Anyways. Kate bush was on the promoted videos on the front page of youtube the other day which made me excited. Hehehehehe so happy. To see it there... omg i am rambling. Bye bye.
