Yeah, moof. I suck at starting these things OK? I'll just find some random (hopefully interesting) obsessive stuff, stick it up here and hope you guys like it. Yuh.

I have no idea how true this stuff is - but most of it prob. came from wikipedia.

"In the English adaptation of InuYasha, Tessaiga is called "Tetsusaiga" due to an error in the transliteration of the sword's name. In terms of reflecting the Japanese pronunciation of the name, the proper romanization is "Tessaiga." By the time Viz, the company that translates the anime and manga, had realized the error, it was too late."
I'd thought it was Tetsusaiga for ages....guess it doesn't matter tho, it doesn't really make much difference.
"InuYasha speaks with pretty harsh Japanese. He never uses honorifics and when talking to people he doesn't like, he uses "temee" and "kisama", both of which is often translated as "you bastard". He uses the former more often and the latter he only used once in episode 6. He does, however, stick with the standard "omae". He uses the tough masculine pronoun "ore", which suits his personality and strength. He also doesn't show respect to his elders, often calling them "-baba" or "-jiji", which translates as "old hag" or "old geezer", respectively."
I know there's no way to show this when they translated it, but I wish there was. I guess they figured the dorks who actually cared would go look it up on Wikipedia...heh..

Kikyo's name is the chinese bellflower, which (I think) is sometimes used in mourning. It translates as " unchanging love."
