True Colours
I always liked Cyndi Lauper but I just discovered this song and thought "wow"! It's so Kate bush meets ... I dunno... 80s!!!
I love the style and it's just so coolies. I also like the Ane Brun version of the song which was used in the Sky+ HD advert. Phil Collins one is quite good too, but I like this one best. I absolutely LOVE the bit when she kisses the dude with the colour change. If I ever make a video I am soooo referencing that as it is so awesome. You know Cyndi as she did "time after time" and "girls just wanna have fun". I really do like her, I think I'll look into her as I think I would like her a lot, but never as much as KB or goldfrapp, but I think I would like her. Girls just want to have fun is just part of me it's one of those songs I grew up with running around the garden with it on full blast (I used to do that hahahaha). Anyways. Love love. Ipod time so seeyas!

Maison Ikkoku = perfect ending. It was cheesy, but it couldn't have been any other way. It honestly could not have been done better. I know I've said this to you before cathy, but I think if you watched it, you REALLY would like it. By the end, I was so attached to the characters, I couldn't NOT be happy. Even peoples like Akemi, and Yotsuya, and...Utter PERFECTION. I can't even say that about Inuyasha (while some bits were, others...)
And sorry, I forgot - there are 96 episodes.

Pilots
This song is called "Pilots" and is sometimes called "Pilots on a Star". It's a really weird track from The Frapp's first album - Felt Mountain. This song was one that took a really long time to grow on me, but I still can't understand what it is about it. I think it's the distancing of the lyrics. It's so personal and yet so far. Ooohh I should analyse Goldfrapp lyrics and songs for an English essay, wow that would be cool! With MB. Heh. Jokes. This is definately a very "interpret your own way" song because of the abstractness, but many people have fixed views on the meaning. It's the sort of song I just imagine couples with. Together. It's so ... ekk ... couple-at-dinner-ish. Gone weird... anyways, maybe you'll have to watch the vid to get what I am on about. Warning: This is not the frapp you will be used to. This is ... different.

Yup yup well the video is very unique. And very un frapp but it is frapp because it isn't. If that makes any sense at all. Wait will finish this lattteerrrrr. Okies and there is this really cool piece of art which someone did based on diese lied. It's called "Pilots of love" (shown on the left) and I absolutely LOVE it, and it really captures, for me, the song. Many people think of the song as being two pilots or astronauts in love. I think it's highly possible, but there are other possibilities... in the wonderland in my head hehehehe. Well, her outfit is cool! The eyelashes are so weird but cool. And will is there!!! Yayness. I love the scooters and when she is lifted onto the ... circle block thing. I prob would have made a totally different video for this but hey it's nice. I'm not entirely sure what else to say without going OVERBOARD because I could talk all night. The lyrics are awesome man as usual. Oh yes, and I think the "our / friendly machine" is very important here. Some believe that the whole album links a romance which could cross human and something else? Maybe machine? It would make sense of an alternate view of the song "human" and basically all the songs at some point. Ok I'll shut up. Enough for noww!!! Tell me what ya thinksies. Oh yes, I might start ending my posts with deer. Or maybe just my own catch phrase like deer. Hmmm. Shame GF used deer cos I would have. I love deer so much and damnit my ideas are always taken.
